Mullies Underwater Services, based on the Mornington Peninsula are a family run business established in 1977. With over three decades of experience in diving and marine services specialising in moorings, Mullies have worked hard to establish themselves as one of the premium diving services on the Mornington Peninsula and one of the leaders in the industry.
Mullies have a long history working with moorings and provide all services including fabrication, installation, maintenance and repairs. Mullies pride themselves in providing a high level of customer service and a high quality product to both private and commercial clients.
Heath Cameron has been working in the business since 2002 and recently took over. He brings with him a wealth of experience in commercial diving in the civil and oil & gas industries. Heath has over a decade of experience working on a wide variety of jobs all over the world including onshore and offshore diving in the oil & gas sector. With this experience coming into the business Mullies goes from strength to strength expanding their services in the commercial diving field.
Heath was introduced to the diving industry in 2003 when he began working at Mullies as a mooring and salvage contractor where he was quickly given full responsibility of all diving operations. Heath has worked all over the world across multiple sectors including Oil & Gas and onshore civil industries. He has experience working as a Saturation Diver, Air Diver and an Onshore Air Supervisor.
Heath strives for excellence in the industry constantly seeking out additional training and keeping up to date with innovative methods, equipment and knowledge. This drive is what pushes Mullies onwards and upwards in the industry.
Mathew is a highly skilled and experienced commercial diver that has worked in Western Australia for the past 10 years. He specializes in construction and fabrication both subsea and topside.
Mathew’s experience is multifaceted with the ability to confidently work across wide range of civil construction jobs and can undertake any task relating to vessel maintenance and subsea construction. Mat is a key figure in the growth of Mullies moving forward into the commercial diving industry.
Mark has been the backbone of Mullies for over 30 years and has now passed the family business to his son Heath. He has a wealth of experience in all aspects of not only the business but in the marine industry. Mark currently does most of our vessel haulage/ transport work and is here to assist the business drawing on his extensive knowledge of the industry.
Gus is our youngest team member that started at Mullies under Mark's wing. He has grown to be an integral part of Mullies continuing to study and be versed in all aspects of the business. Gus is an ADAS Part 2 diver and also a marine coxswain.
Ben came to Mullies as a qualified commercial diver with a background in carpentry. He has brought excellent skills fundamental to wharf and jetty construction and maintenance. He continues to learn and is continually growing as a commercial diver.
Ian started in the industry as a boat builder and fabricator some 30 years ago. He is highly skilled in all areas of boat building and has made himself a name on the Peninsula for custom overhauls and fit outs of vessels. Ian is also a qualified and experienced TIG welder in both stainless steel and aluminium.
James begun his career in the marine industry over 25 years ago as an apprentice boat builder with his father’s business. As a qualified boat builder, he has an outstanding reputation in carrying out both small and large projects.
Nicole is a pivotal member of Mullies bringing enthusiasm and experience to the Mullies office with over 10 years in the marine industry. Nicole provides a high level of professional customer service and is available to help out with any queries.
